It’s been a while since I wanted to do this post. Having worked as a model for over 8 years it always amazed me how the make-up artists could transform my lips with a few simple, but highly effective tricks.
I would say that applying lipstick is an art of its own and you can see straight away when it’s done correctly. It looks neat, gives the lips a beautiful full shape and a sexy look.
Too often I’ve seen girls applying lipstick too generously, trying to cheat themselves to big “Kendal Jenner” lips and ending up with something that in my view looks like a badly done lip job.
That’s why I decided to put together a few tips for you to learn how to create that sexy, full and natural looking lip.
3 Secrets to Create Sexy, Full Lips
1. Lip liner:apply lipliner slightly over the edge of your top and bottom part of the lips and take it slightly inward when it comes to the sides of your mouth.
2. Lipstick: the most effective way to apply lipstick is to have a lighter and a darker shade of the same colour – apply the darker shade in the corner of your mouth and on the bottom part of your lip and fill out the rest of your lips with the lighter colour.
3. Highlighting: use a concealer or highlighter to create a neat lip line around your mouth and make the lips pop more. Bonus tip – add light eye shadow in the middle of your mouth and press your lips together to blend it with the lipstick.
